“According to a report, movie icon Sophia Loren is puzzled by people (like moi) who religiously watch the globally franchised reality show Big Brother.

She is quoted as saying “I can’t get my head around people wanting to watch wannabes simply sleeping or having insane conversations or, worse still, sitting up all night on the off-chance two idiots may have sex.” (Is she trying to say I need to get a life? She doesn’t even know me!)

All kidding aside, even though Sophia doesn’t get it, there are plenty of BB junkies out there — and it’s not about wanting to see if “two idiots” will have sex. We watch to see the relationships, the backstabbing, the game play, and all of that other fun stuff.

In related news, CBS announced yesterday that Showtime’s Sho2 will once again air three extra hours of live footage from the Big Brother house, seven days a week, when new season premieres next month. We bet Sophia would be rolling her eyes about that!”

Big Brother: After Dark, an exclusive live three hour feed of the first winter edition of the CBS hit reality series BIG BROTHER starting Tuesday, February 12th at 12:00 AM ET/PT on SHO2

LOS ANGELES, CA – (January 8, 2008) – CBS and Showtime will once again partner to bring viewers Big Brother: After Dark, an exclusive, live televised look inside the BIG BROTHER house after the network prime-time cameras have been turned off. Big Brother: After Dark will feature a live television feed from the “Big Brother” house for three hours (12:00-3:00 AM, ET/PT), seven days a week, on the cable network’s SHO2 multiplex channel beginning Tuesday, February 12th at 12:00 AM ET/PT. The announcement was made today by Robert Greenblatt, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.

“Big Brother: After Dark was a big success for us at bringing an audience to very late night time periods on SHO2. Citing eyewitnesses and police sources, it was reported that Stevan Zecevic, 23, Zorica Lazic, 24, and Elmir Kuduzovic, 25, who were voted out of the Big Brother home ahead of the finale on New Year’s Eve, were killed when their car crashed into a river late Friday night.”

ARKANSAS — Word is Tony Westbrook of Benton will be among the housemates of the next season of CBS’s reality show, Big Brother.

The new season – the show’s first winter one – is to begin Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Westbrook will be one of 14 people who move into the house (on a Hollywood film stage) and attempt to avoid eviction for the next 80 days.

The goal? To make it to the final two, where the winner receives $500,000 and the runner up lands $50,000.

Back home in Arkansas, Westbrook, who is 33 and a Harmony Grove high school graduate (class of ‘92) works as a paraprofessional at Birchtree Community assisted-living facility.

Look for the prime-time show to air Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

“Ok, now we’re starting to think the Dolce Group just wants a lot of free, cheap publicity. First, Mike Malin “celebrates” a Red Sox win in Denver. Then we see Lonnie Moore hawking himself on Millionaire Matchmaker, unfortunately one day before he’s slapped with a nasty lawsuit from a girl who doesn’t use the Millionaire Matchmaker. Today, we get this: “Rumor has it that Mike “Boogie” Malin (partner of the dolce group and winner of big brother 7) fell thru the skylight last Friday night at Les Deux and was rushed to the hospital.” There was something about hanging out with Jennifer Capriati (the tennis player) after a Van Halen concert in the VIP room at Les Deux, which has access to the roof. According to Dolce PR (who’s had quite the workout this week, to say the least), Malin decided he had to adjust some Christmas decorations on the roof, misstepped and slipped through the skylight that overlooks the nightclub. (Kids: Cocktails and Christmas decorations don’t mix.) Capriati pulled him out, he’s fine, but a little sore. This sounds like a typical move for anyone nicknamed “Boogie,” but the timing just couldn’t be more, um, ridiculous.”

For the auctions. I was just informed (sorry, I am not an ebay kinda guy) that the search on ebay is for the title line only!

So, putting my name in is only bringing up about half of that shit. So do the advanced search and put my name in the spot for “Sellers” you are searching. And you will see it all then. Good luck.

And now to the fun shit…

I am not confirming anything just yet, but my guess is that you will be able to turn on the tube and get to listen to my bullshit once again. And if it doesn’t pan out, I am gonna look like a complete jackass for saying this here. But, I don’t give a fuck, I have looked like a jackass the majority of my life and still don’t care, so there ya have it.

I took a vacation from my computer this weekend, shit… what a clusterfuck.

Before the ebay *****….

Daniele and I will be on Reality Remix next Wed. I am not sure if they air the same day they tape, but we are taping on Wed. and I would think there is a good chance they will air the same day. We will be talking ***** about all the other houseguests…. not really. We will be talking ***** about the next group of houseguest in BB9….. no, they haven’t even picked them yet. We will be talking about the upcoming season 9. And I am sure a bit about BB8. So, there might be a bit of ***** talking…. We can only hope, huh?

I have so much ***** here, it is retarded. When you are in the house you figure you will take this here and that there to have some mementos of your time in the house. But the truth is, I will never need any type of memento to remember my time in the house. It is an enormous part of my life, that I have relived countless times in interviews since the show. So, all that stuff will just end up as more ***** I have, where I think it would mean a lot to some of the fans or mine, or if they hate the fact that I even breath, well then fans of the show. It was a hell of a season after all…..

So, now is your chance….

If you ever saw me blow my nose into that red bandana and said, “*****, I hope that EvelDick puts that snot filled rag on ebay, because I would really like to own that some day.” Well, my friend…. Your ship has come in, it is your lucky day!!!

And I will be getting this stuff up there pretty quick, because I have had fans mention that they would like to have the items before X-mas. So, you will be able to give Granny one of the packs of cigarettes that Jen smashed up of mine, and have it to wrap up with a nice bow and put under the tree.

So, here’s an incomplete list of items I will be putting up on ebay very soon.
There are a couple of weird things that normally I would have tossed out, but Daniele told me that….. you, the nutcases that are my fans, might like to have it to treasure for the rest of your long and happy lives.

And I will be signing whatever items will allow me to sign them. Otherwise an index card or something similar (a cocktail napkin that was under my last margarita perhaps) will be with it, saying what item it went with and a signature.

The two champagne glasses they gave Daniele and I to toast with dinner after making the final two together. I know there are plenty of clips and stills with us clinking these two glasses in a toast towards the end of the show.

At the wrap party I was presented with the metal part of the shower (it is normally used to water hanging plants) that the camera guys and interns hosed me with for 7.5 hours in that miserable ***** competition with the bunny hopping thing. The one where everyone thought I was gonna die of hypothermia, yeah… that one. Anyhow, they took that, and the sign with my name “Dick” and attached it to the metal shower thing and got their entire crew together to present it to me at the wrap party. It was very cool of them and I did and do appreciate it. But it’s gotta go.

The plate that Daniele and I painted (while Jameka painted her own) when we were in the final 4. I made up something to represent each person in the house. Like Zach is a giant set of teeth. Jameka is the magic ping pong ball. Jen is represented by 3 short words… Me, Me, ME!! You are getting the idea now.

My boots, all ***** up with a hole in the bottom and stitching coming out. I figure if I toss them in too, it will finally force me to go buy new ones.

My Big Brother duffle bag. The last thing I need is a sign saying, “Yes, it really is me.”

The last Suicidal Tendencies shirt I have left from the show. I gave one to Nick the week he got the boot and CBS asked me for one to frame with my key for the executive offices. So, this one is it… (I got new ones, but this is the only one I have that I wore on the show.)

The wifebeater with the skull and cross bones on it. I wore that in the water comp. beating Daniele allowing me to go up against Zach for the 3rd leg of the final HOH comp.

The white tank top they took away from me a few weeks into the show. It has a cartoonish pic of a guy bending over and his ass hanging out with a big red lipstick print on his ass.

The baseball hat with the big fat cock on it….. some may prefer to call it a rooster, I am sticking to my guns with cock on this one.

The 2 colored tea cups we used to fill up the giant fish bowls while trying not to fall on your ass with the slippery lanes they made for us. These are green, the ones I used in the comp were purple. So, I don’t know who used them, but I ended up with them.

The (big) sunglasses I wore for the beginning of the show, till they broke. So, yes they are broken, but hey…. they can be yours.

Those shorts I wore with all the ***** up holes in the leg. You want them, they’re all yours.

The red bandanna I wore in my back pocket from the time we got them in the guitar smashing food competition, till I walked out of the house.

A couple of the necklaces that I wore in that same competition. They are cheap metal alloy things. One is a skull and crossbones, the other is a pentagram.

The studded fingerless gloves I wore in that same competition.

In that competition, we smashed open the guitars to find a little sign inside of it, it was either a $ or one that said “slop” … I have one that says slop.

The chef’s hat I wore during the Mission Impastabowl comp. It still has sauce stains on it from me sliding down the slide head first into all that pasta and sauce.

Jessica’s beret (you know, that French style hat) that she wore in the art gallery competition. When she got the boot, she left it in the house, so I took it.

I have 3 of the rats from the Cat Scratch Veto competition. I took the ones with the tags that had the most meaning to me. One is…. about Dustin and the crown, but it is in rhyme and I am too lazy to go see. The other was about the ***** 9 gallons in the tea cup (The tea cup you sat in and spun around in the back yard…) That was a tie breaker question that was a total trick question and because Jen had the worst guess, she won HOH that week, grrrr. And a random one CBS sent me.

A large rubber snake that I took off the decoration of the shot for shot competition. The comp where we had to drink 10 glasses of blended horses ass and you got one shot with the mallet in the croquet part of the comp. You remember, the VETO Comp that I won after making each and every houseguest in that place regret they ever auditioned for the show….. Hell week.

The really plush brown robes we were each (the guys) given after that awful bubble luxury competition that gave me a ***** eye infection. Anyhow, I was the only one that wore them. Eric and Zach gave me theirs, so I have 3. The med. was Eric’s, the Large is mine, and the XL was Zach’s.

An ugly ass pair of brand new (besides about 3 uses from my stinky feet) New Balance running shoes in my size 9. They gave them to us, I didn’t like them but wore them for some ***** they had us do…. Including that bat hang comp, I wore them in.

One of those sleeping masks you put over your eyes. They had us put those on when they thought there might be another plane or banner coming….

I took my key when I left the house. But…. they keep the winners key from every season and frame it. Like they did with my key and the Suicidal Tendencies shirt this year. So, they asked for it back. So, I asked them for the key that Eric voted for me to win the show/game with, since that was the one that America cast their vote for me, not Eric. But, they gave me Jessica’s voting key. So, I might put that up too. I will decide on that later.

And there is another thing I might put up, but I want to make sure nobody will be upset if I do….. or if it will appear extremely rude. So, I will talk to a couple people before even saying it.

Ok, I will post the link when it all goes up, so you can all have at it. And I don’t want to see you people all mad and fighting over the smashed cigarette box now. What is funny, and this is the truth…. I just cleaned the last of the ***** out of the BB8 duffle bag and found them in there. I forgot I kept one because it had some salvagable cigarettes in it. So, if I didn’t get the others replaced, those I would have killed Jen over.

There will also be some signed 8×10’s of me and Daniele on there as well. There will be a number of these. But I want to be very clear…. There will be only a certain number of each photo signed (we are thinking 5) and we will never sign that particular photo again. So, if you like one photo, get it…. because that will be it for that one. We will both be signing these and will try to put up enough of them so the price isn’t retarded.

“***Big Brother 9 After Dark is getting axed in favor of a having Sequester house filmed. The sequester house will be filmed by a regular TV crew it will not be a 24Hour live feed. The show will air on ShowTime from midnight to 3 AM on a daily basis.

“Just for fun I was checking out the Big Brother 9 application form. While I love watching reality TV and Big Brother in particular there is no way you could get me on one of those shows. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to expose their lives like that on national TV. I still found the application itself fascinating. The full application contains over 70 questions. It starts out like any job or college application. You know, name, address, phone number, employer, bra size. Yes, ladies, you need to tell them your bra size. As the application states, “And remember, above all else, you must BE HONEST!” Both men and women have to include their underwear size. Lets see McDonalds or U. of Michigan get away with putting that on their application forms! “Do you want to be on TV? CBS, with local broadcasting station KOIN-TV (6), will be holding an open casting call for the reality television show “Big Brother” from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Streets of Tanasbourne shopping center.

Producers are looking for “outgoing, intriguing, competitive” people “ready to live inside the Big Brother house with a group of strangers,” with multiple cameras recording everything. Contestants on the show, which will be “Big Brother 9,” compete against other houseguests to win half a million dollars.

Casting calls are being held nationwide this fall.

“Well, let me start this off with this…. The casting director of the show, Robyn, asked me during the process of auditioning for season 5 that if I got on the show, would I get a Big Brother tattoo? I told her to talk to me if I won. Season 6 she asked me the same question and I gave her the same answer. So, I showed her my Big Brother 8 tattoo yesterday. I have a couple pics of it posted here, so check it out. I had the BB8 logo and right under it, I had “season of The Donatos” tattooed. The words “season of” are in script… and the words “The Donatos” is the same as the photoshop job of the Sopranos. I think it is bad ass.”

The line began forming outside before 8:30 a.m. The first person in line was Victoria Pratt, of Columbia. Pratt said it’s been her dream to be on “Big Brother” since the very first season. Pratt says, “I’m gonna be on ‘Big Brother.’ I’m gonna walk in that house and shake it up.”

People from a wide variety of backgrounds auditioned for the 9th season of the show. Some of the people were teachers, college students, funeral directions and even a former Miss Gay American.”

CBS has announced that nationwide casting for BIG BROTHER 9 will take place at locations around the country between Saturday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 8 (see below for locations). In addition, applications are now being accepted online at CBS.com for the ninth installment of the reality series which will be broadcast in 2008 on dates to be announced. Julie Chen will return as host for Big Brother 9 and the series will once again be executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, in association with Endemol U.S.A.

BIG BROTHER 9 will follow a group of strangers living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Earlier this year Paris Hilton was reported as expressing interest in appearing on the popular British version of Celebrity Big Brother which has featured such American’s as Jermaine Jackson and Tracy Bingham. However; when Channel 4 axed the popular series from their winter line up due to backlash from last seasons show, Paris was left by the wayside after she reportedly said she’d due the series if they “could afford” her.

My only concern is that an American celebrity version of the show would end up being more like The Surreal Life than Big Brother. If they do choose to do a celebrity version they better stick to the rules and treat the celebrities no more or less differently than they would any one else.”

“CBS may rely on its “Big Brother” as a strike contingency.

Skein, usually a summer staple, has started staffing up for an in-season run that could be on the air as soon as February, people familiar with the situation said.

Indeed, in anticipation of a strike, Eye quietly began casting for the next edition of the show a few weeks ago.

Exec producer Allison Grodner is also said to be working on a new creative twist for the Julie Chen-hosted skein, in which a group of strangers live together in a house for three months.

There’s been buzz that the next edition of “Big Brother” might actually use celebrities, as opposed to ordinary people. A long strike might work in favor of such a plan, since some celebs normally busy working on sitcoms and dramas might have some time on their hands.

Possibility of an early “Big Brother” popped up on Tuesday’s edition of the Eye’s “Early Show.” Anchor Hanna Storm joked that the show might be back sooner than the summer, prompting a roll of the eyes from Chen. Chen then expressed her hope that the strike is settled soon.

“Big Brother” would be a perfect strike weapon for CBS because it airs three times a week, filling three key hours of primetime.”

A reliable source says CBS is quietly ramping up production on a ninth cycle of the reality show to begin airing in late January or early February if the strike persists well into the holidays. It’s easy for CBS to fire up production on BB because it owns the house (which is located on the network’s Studio City, CA lot) and it casts for the show year-round. We hear executive producer Allison Grodner is already hiring production staff and, of course, Julie “Chenbot” Chen would return as host. A CBS spokesperson declined comment.

WILD to the intense climates of the Sahara, Panama and Patagonia, where he shares invaluable knowledge for surviving in the extreme wild.

In 1998 at age 23, Bear became the youngest British climber to ever complete a summit and descent of Mount Everest. This spring, Bear returned to the Himalayas to chase a new dream – flying a powered paraglider higher than Everest. As a special companion piece to the second season of MAN VS. WILD, Discovery Channel will premiere a one-hour observational documentary that follows Bear, his close friend Gilo Cardozo, and their team as they attempt their dangerous feat – raising money for a children’s charity through their efforts. BEAR’S MISSION EVEREST, which premieres Friday, November 9, at 10 PM (ET/PT), follows the team during their meticulous preparations, recording their personal thoughts about motivation, hopes and fears that arise just before and during the flight – and the drama of the flight itself.

The second season of MAN VS. WILD, beginning first on Friday, November 9, at 9 PM (ET/PT), focuses on three geographic area visited by Bear. Each region will be the subject of each two consecutive weeks. From the barren deserts of the Sahara (November 9 and 16), to the mist-filled jungles of Panama (November 23 and 30) and the isolated plains and glaciers of Patagonia (December 7 and 14), each epic program illustrates the variety of landscapes and presents a wide range of possible survival challenges for Bear.
